What is an underbase?
An underbase is a base layer of ink (usually white) beneath the ink you can see in the print. It is typically used on dark colored garments to keep the color of the dye from showing in the print. Prints on dark colors will not appear as vibrant but this can be utilized to give the design a weathered appearance.
Can you print CMYK?
No, we do not currently offer CMYK printing (4 color process).
Do you offer varsity names & numbers?
Yes, though currently we provide them as heat transfers only.
What does raster and vector mean?
Raster images are comprised of pixels, whereas vector images are made from a series of anchor points. These anchor points are a set of mathematical equations that allow the image to be scaled to any size without distortion. If you were to scale a raster image to a larger size some pixelation would occur. Raster images are best suited for photorealistic printing. Saving a raster image in a vector format does not make it a vector image.
